Peder Oxe is one of Copenhagen’s most famous restaurants for a reason. It’s been around on Gråbrødretorv since 1975 and over the years the food has only gotten tastier. Here the amazing, friendly atmosphere pairs perfectly with delicious Danish-French food, including their renowned smørrebrød (open sandwiches).
It’s the perfect place to enjoy lunch, and now the team have added another mouthwatering element to the menu – a cake buffet. Denmark is the place to enjoy delicious pastries, cakes and sweet treats, with amazing bakeries everywhere in the city of Copenhagen, and we can’t get enough of it. Now we don’t have to limit ourselves because the incredible chefs at Peder Oxe are baking flavoursome desserts, for a cake buffet every other Sunday.
That’s right, you can eat as many as you’d like! The next cake table will be around on April 24, then you can enjoy it every other Sunday from thereon in for 295 DKK per adult and 145 DKK per child. Plus, you get a big glass of champagne, tea, coffee and mineral water to wash all of that sweet deliciousness down with. You can eat as much as your stomach will allow between the hours of 3 pm and 5 pm, so it’s basically a cake brunch, which is our kind of brunch!
Kids get bottomless hot chocolate with whipped cream, which will almost definitely make you their favourite relative alongside the massive amounts of cake. Moreover, if you’ve ever been to Peder Oxe then you’ll know that anyone is pretty much guaranteed to enjoy the tasty bakes. To book, all you need to do is visit the website and then sit back and dream of endless cake.
