Have you ever wondered what it would be like to eat in the dark? Well, wonder no more, because you can do just that at Fever’s Dining In The Dark event on February 14, 15, 22 and 23 at either 5.30 pm or 8 pm.

Studies suggest that eating without your sense of sight really alters the experience and that it can help you to really engage with your senses of taste, smell and touch. We’re always eating with our eyes, and at Secret København, we share with you some photos of the tastiest looking food from Copenhagen’s most amazing restaurants, but what’s really important is the taste, texture and sensation of the food, isn’t it?

That’s why Fever has booked the amazing Blomst as the venue for Dining In The Dark. Here you’re sure to eat some incredible meals because this popular restaurant is known for its delicious food.

It’s an incredibly elegant restaurant where everything is decorated with amazing attention to detail, and you’ll observe that as you approach the front door. From thereon in your senses will be plunged into darkness, but don’t worry because there will be somebody on hand to guide you to your table!

It’s up to you whether you go for vegan, seafood, or meat options. Either way, it’s going to be really flavourful because the idea is that you really taste the food. Sweet, salty and sour flavours combine on the plate but you won’t know what the component parts of the meal are so it’s fun to guess and feel like a pro.

Of course, we can’t tell you the full menu (shh, it’s a secret), but you can read a description of the flavours online. So you’d better get practising tasting because you’re on your way to becoming a culinary detective.
