What can you expect at the Disgusting Food Museum?
The Disgusting Food Museum invites you to step into the space that truly tests your sense of adventure. Not only will you get to explore all sorts of fascinating foods, but you will also immerse yourself in various cultures.
We’re talking 80 of the world’s most notorious delicacies, challenging you to smell and even taste food that has sparked debates for centuries. Whether it’s roasted guinea pigs from Peru or maggot-infested cheese from Sardinia, there are lots of surprises that might not necessarily get your tummy rumbling. But who knows, you might find yourself pleasantly surprised…

Not only does the Disgusting Food Museum allow you to understand that while the sensation of disgust is a universal human reflex designed to keep us safe, what we actually find revolting is entirely shaped by what we’re used to. Here you will be able to question your own boundaries, diet and explore new cultures. You will also discover how embracing unfamiliar but sustainable protein sources, such as insects and lab-grown meat, might be the key to feeding our future planet. So why not head for this journey of empathy, laughter, and discovery that proves a shared meal is the fastest way to turn a stranger into a friend?
