Fancy a trip to Stockholm? At the start of the pandemic Swedish train operator, SJ had stopped running the Stockholm to Copenhagen routes, but now they’re back and we can’t wait to board!
From September 13 you’ll be able to board a high-speed train directly from Stockholm to Copenhagen 2-3 times a day, and SJ hopes to increase that to around 7 trains a day later in the year.
People are hungry for travel right now, and these trains provide an opportunity to travel in a relatively eco-friendly way between Scandinavia’s two largest cities. Nowadays, people are increasingly turning to trains as an alternative to air travel because of the impact air travel has on the environment, and also because it is much easier to board a train than to go through airport security and face potential queues.
The first of these high-speed trains will leave Stockholm at 08.21 on Monday, September 13 and arrive in Copenhagen at 1.22 pm, and you can book tickets on the SJ website.
