lumagica light festival

We love a good light festival, so we were super-excited to hear that another is heading our way this February and it sounds incredible. Lumagica has visited Ringsted, Aabenraa, and Malmö in past years and now it’s heading to Rødovre, just west of Copenhagen’s centre.

The theme of this magical light festival is ‘Frozen Kingdom’ and it really lives up to its name, with countless amazing installations for visitors to gaze at. Amongst these enchanting installations are a glittering Tree of Life, an abominable snowman, and a spectacular ice queen, who stands five metres tall.

It really is like stepping into another world and you can visit from February 5 until March 6, so there’s plenty of time to go and see this unmissable festival. Plus, there are places to buy food and drinks so you can really enjoy the experience. Tickets are 129 DKK per adult and 55 DKK for kids aged between 3 and 12 and you can buy them on the website.
