Pumpkin-carving is the perfect Halloween activity.
The lovely Ventegodtgaard farm is just South-West of Copenhagen and there you can plenty of lovely plump pumpkins to decorate your home for Halloween. It only takes around 35 minutes to drive there and once you’re there you can spend the whole afternoon in the great outdoors, harvesting fresh fruit and vegetables.
You can also harvest potatoes, apples and lovely juicy tomatoes right now, so why not make an afternoon of it? Everything is grown organically and they sell lots of brilliant, organic products. Pick up some fresh, homemade apple juice, available all year, for a treat. It’s made from the apples grown on the farm and harvested earlier in the year. The strawberry picking is really popular earlier in the year, in the months of June and July. However, there’s plenty of lovely produce ready to be plucked from the plants right now! You can read more about the farm, check opening times and contact them on the website.
