This Halloween, you can pick your own pumpkins at a beautiful farm not far from the city.
Ventegodtgaard is just South-West of Copenhagen and there you can pick your own pumpkins to carve for Halloween. It takes about 35 minutes to drive there and once you’re there you can spend the whole afternoon picking pumpkins and squash.
You can also dig potatoes and go strawberry picking. Everything is grown organically and they sell lots of brilliant, organic products. Pick up some fresh, home-made apple juice, available all year, for a treat. It’s made from the apples grown on the farm and harvested earlier in the year. The strawberry picking is really popular earlier in the year, in the months of June and July. However, the farm should be quieter in the Autumn so you can keep your distance from other households easily and in the open air.
You can read more about the farm, check opening times and contact them on their website.
