Oh, how we’ve missed Christiania’s lovely Christmas market. Last year organisers had to improvise because of the pandemic and instead of being held in its usual location, Den Grå Hal, it was spread out across different locations to limit the number of people gathering in each room.
However, this year Den Grå Hal will once again host the Christmas market and it’s ready to open on Thursday, December 9. You’ll be able to visit between the hours of 12 noon and 8 pm except for on the last day when the stalls close at 6 pm.
It’s one of the best Christmas markets in Copenhagen, with such a wide variety of products on offer. From festive food to Christmas decorations and everything in between, not forgetting the star of the show – the mulled wine!
The Christmas market will be around until December 20, so there’s plenty of time to explore it and plenty of it to explore, too. As usual, there will be live music every day to entertain you as your browse and it costs absolutely nothing to visit.
