‘I thought Christmas only comes once a year’
We are counting down the days until May 6 when the cinemas will re-open to the public and we can once again experience the unique atmosphere that cinemas offer. And what better to crunch your popcorn to than the hugely successful blockbuster James Bond films?
That’s right, a James Bond experience is coming to CinemaxX in Copenhagen (Kalvebod Brygge) and it sounds tantalizingly brilliant. A grand total of 26 films will be shown in anticipation of the new bond film set to be released in October entitled No Time To Die, which will star Daniel Craig as James Bond.
There are, of course, only 24 ‘official’ James Bond films, but CinemaxX will also be showing 2 of the non-official films. So, if you haven’t yet watched the 007 films in their entirety, this is the perfect opportunity to do so, whilst enjoying the luxury of this lovely cinema.
Don’t worry if you can’t make the first showing of a particular film because all of the films will be shown twice between July 7 and September 28. Plus, Bond film experts and movie buffs are expected to introduce several of the films, so you can be sure to glean that extra bit of expertise from the experience. The lineup of experts is set to include people like Ida Rud and Jacob Wendt Jensen.
Individually, entry to each film will cost 75 DKK, but you can also buy 26 tickets for 700 DKK, which can be used as a kind of season ticket, or shared between Bond fans. Tickets will soon be available on the CinemaxX website, and we can’t wait to settle into those comfy cinema seats once again.
