If your eyes light up at the sight of cakes and pastries then you absolutely have to visit Maison d’Angleterre. This new patisserie and cafe in Kongens Nytorv is a treat for the eyes and the stomach, with the cutest cakes and pastries on offer.
Freja Karup is the head pastry chef at Maison d’Angleterre, having previously worked for the impressive Svinkløv Badehotel. Here they sell the most delicious treats originally sold in the Michelin Star restaurant Marchal and we think that these tasty little treats would make the perfect Christmas gift or dessert.
You can order food to take away or eat it in the lovely cafe where you can admire the beautiful Christmas decorations and charming soft pink decor. You can expect to find the staples of any cafe here, including tasty coffee and flaky pastries, but the menu changes with the season, which we love.
Stunning macarons and delicately decorated cakes line the display on the counter, tempting customers in. Once you’ve seen these incredible creations you can’t just buy one or two. It’s better just to stuff your face, in our opinion, and you can find this beautiful cafe at Østergade 2, 1100. Visit the website to read more about the concept.
