If you’re feeling peckish and in the market for something phallic, Lily & Bob have you covered. This racy bakery in Frederiksborggade makes its waffles in the shape of penises and vulvas, all dipped in delicious toppings that would make even the most modest reach for a bite. These hilarious bakes came about when Bob and Lily (of Lily & Bob) were on a Tinder date by The Lakes and ideas began to sprout. Waffles are meant to be indulgent, but when you buy one from Lily & Bob they’re also bound to make you laugh, and who doesn’t need a good giggle right now?
Waffles cost 38 DKK each, and the price includes one dip and one topping, but once you’ve had one you won’t be able to stop, and you don’t have to because the shop is open 2 pm – 7 pm every day, including holidays.
The toppings and dips aren’t quite as racy as the waffles themselves, but they definitely add to the humour and each week there is a ‘waffle of the week’ to try. Last week the penises were filled with strawberry jam and dipped in delicious white chocolate. On the other hand, the vulva-shaped waffles act as a kind of waffle sandwich, filled with delicious ice cream in lots of tasty flavors.
