… and it sounds delicious.
Venner translates to ‘Friends’ in English, and this new breakfast spot is indeed owned by two friends. David and Cam began their friendship in the kitchens at Kadeau, and now they are opening their own restaurant in the gorgeous Latin Quarter of Copenhagen.
Venner will be serving breakfast From 8 am – 5 pm, Thursday to Monday it sounds delicious. The restaurant is located at Teglgårdstræde 13 and the two chef-owners really know their stuff. They’ve both very familiar with Danish food, and also bring the food of their home countries, England and Canada, to the table.
The style will be filling, delicious and rich breakfast dishes, like Eggs Benedict, with freshly-squeezed juice and tea from Sing Tea House. Plus, although the standard is bound to be very high, given who owns the place, buying breakfast here is not going to break the bank.
6 dishes will set you back DKK 230 per person, and that includes a filter coffee with a refill. If we didn’t have you at ‘fancy breakfast’ then let us tell you about the bar! Bar 13 will be opening tonight at 5 pm in the basement on the same premises, and we can’t wait to drink some delicious wines, plus they’re going to be serving beer from Copenhagen brewery Mikkeller, which is always incredible. You can book a table on the website, but don’t forget to have your coronapass with you!
