Last year loads of things were canceled due to the Covid-19 pandemic, including the Coca-Cola truck’s annual visit to Copenhagen. However, this year Coca Cola Danmark have announced the return of the truck and it will be visiting towns and cities across the country in the coming couple of months.
It’s truly a sight to behold – a towering, elaborately decorated, and festive truck that brings delicious coca-cola to visitors, much to their delight. More important than the free cola is the work that the truck does for charity. This year baubles and mini-Coca Cola trucks will be sold to collect money for Mødrehjælpen, a charity that helps mothers and families who are struggling with their circumstances.
This year the Christmas truck will roll into town on November 19 and leave on December 23, so there’s plenty of time to see it, and here’s where it will be:
- November 19, 3 pm – 7 pm: Vermlandsgade 45
- November 20, 11 am – 5 pm: Superbrugsen, Søndre Ringvej 41
- December 18: Copenhagen Zoo, Roskildevej 32
- December 19, 12 noon – 8 pm – Parken, Per Henrik Lings Allé
You see the full list of dates and locations on the Coca-Cola Danmark website and read more about the charity they will be helping. Mini Coca-Cola trucks and Christmas baubles will cost 25 DKK each and 100% of the profits will go to charity.
