If you’re the kind of person who likes to buy from local artists rather than big chains then you’ll be pleased to hear about the design market coming to Copenhagen between August 11 and 13. Here you’ll be able to browse wares from Danish artists, from ceramics to furniture, artwork, clothing and jewelry.
130 designers are artists from across Denmark will have their stalls at this market organised by Danske Kunsthåndværkere & Designere and it’s going to be an incredible opportunity to refresh your wardrobe or decor. Plus, fingers crossed we’ll have some nice summer weather in the city perfect for exploring a design market.
The design market will take place in Frue Plads, so right in the centre of the city, and this market marks the 38th of its kind. The closest S-train or metro stop is Nørreport Station, making it super easy to get to and what really makes it special is the opportunity for customers to actually meet the people who made the product they’re buying. It costs absolutely nothing to browse the market and you can read more about it on the Facebook event page here.
