Where to live your best Mediterranean life.
We’re all missing the lovely Spanish sun, and a huge part of Spanish culture is of course the food and drink. There’s no such thing as a rushed meal in Spain, it’s a time to really enjoy the company of others and gorge yourself on all of the amazing ingredients the country has to offer.
So, when we heard about Bocado, we knew we had to write about it. This place has all of the hallmarks of a classic Spanish tapas restaurant, with an open kitchen so you can see exactly how they make the food. You can even see the ingredients used to cook the dishes in ice-filled cases, which makes the food even more tempting.
Of course, there’s plenty of seafood to choose from here, and you can order a deliciously moreish paella, or perhaps some tender pulpo (octopus). There are also tons of meat and vegetarian dishes on the menu, including tortilla de patatas and slices of delicious Iberico jamon. Plus, on the menu are some classic Latin American dishes too, like chuletón (steak) with chimichurri.
All of this amazing food is served to sharing tables, which is certain to create a fantastic atmosphere in the restaurant, as will the Spanish wine, we’re sure. You can order yourself some sangria, or go straight for the delicious Spanish wine, of which there are many options available. If this has made you feel hungry, you can book a table on the website, and find the restaurant at Kristen Bernikows Gade 9, 1105.
