Young and old alike adore the Tivoli Christmas lights!
Tivoli welcomes in the spirit of Christmas this year on November 13 and it’s not a day too soon, in current circumstances. Who isn’t cheered up by the beautiful spectacle that is Tivoli at Christmas, after all? This year people have been putting up their Christmas trees and decorations earlier than usual to try and brighten up life a little. Of course, much of Europe is under some form of Covid-19 related restrictions.
However, it’s not just the Danes and Danish residents who love Tivoli – American magazine Conde Nast has named Tivoli’s Christmas as some of the most stunning in the whole world. Let’s face it, the Danes know how to do Christmas and with a climate like that of Copenhagen, it feels Christmassy as soon as November hits, so we’re well poised to be amongst the best.
Last year’s decorations were absolutely stunning. A beautiful Swarovski tree glittered amongst artificial snow and you could be forgiven for thinking you were in Narnia. This year’s decorations are set to be just as magical. They have even figured out a way to make meeting Santa safer so that children can get their fill of hygge this year.
