We can’t wait to see the polar bears!
Copenhagen Zoo in Frederiksberg is officially re-opening this Thursday and we couldn’t be happier! It has been closed for some time now due to covid restrictions but will be taking all of the precautionary measures necessary to provide a safe visit for everyone.
However, the onus will be on visitors to provide a negative Covid-19 test that is less than 72 hours old in order to gain access, which is the case with all outdoor leisure spaces at the moment. If you’re not sure where to go for a test, check out our article on how to get a test. Children under the age of 15 do not need a negative test result to enter.
The zoo is full of amazing animals but our favourites are the polar bears (don’t tell the other animals), because you can spot them walking along the ice above you in the aquarium. Plus, a new baby zebra was born in January and we may finally be able to say hello.
You can buy tickets for the zoo on the website. Being around animals can be so therapeutic, and let’s face it, we could all do with some down-time after the year we’ve all had!
