Last year drag queen Vinegar Strokes graced the stunning Zoku Hotel in Copenhagen with a boozy brunch and it was a roaring success. This year they’ve really pulled it out of the bag and you can enjoy a three-course meal with the queen, ‘slagsss’ (we hope you get that reference).
Vinegar Strokes charmed viewers on Ru Paul’s Drag Race UK season one, with her leopard print outfits, describing her style of singing as ‘Tina Turner meets Lizzo meets Kat Slater’. This proud, working-class Londoner starred in the West End’s Everybody’s Talking About Jamie and she’s 100% guaranteed to make you laugh.
If you Google her name (not on your work laptop) you’ll know instantly that this girl is not afraid to talk about anything and she’s ready to entertain you with that famously inhibition-free humour on June 17 at Zoku. She’ll have you in fits of laughter whilst you eat on the beautiful rooftop at Zoku with a spot of fabulous cabaret. You can expect wit, talent and a whole lot of personality, plus great food. The three-course meal comes from Living Kitchen and it will be served by moonlight just to make the whole event even more magical.
There are vegetarian options available and you get to choose between delicious starters, mains, and desserts like flank steak with blackcurrant BBQ and grilled asparagus with smoked cheese cream. Plus, you get to pair it all with a selection of delicious wines. So, basically, it’s the perfect evening.
Early bird tickets and 550 DKK and there are still some available, but if you miss out on those you can buy a regular ticket for 600 DKK instead. Tickets will be available up until the day of the cabaret, June 17, and the event runs from 8 pm until 11 pm. You can grab your tickets here.
